Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie received Barnard College Medal of Distinction, the women college's highest honor, during its 124th Commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 17. The internationally acclaimed writer urged the graduates to "eat real food, be kind to themselves, read books", along with other useful advice.
